The text in this MS starts from the beginning of the text and reaches up to nearly the end of the Kṛtpaṭala chapter.

On the right side of the first covert-leaf and on fol. 56v are impressed stamps of Chandra Shumshere.

At the top of the first cover-leaf there is a śloka, under which is written ❖ prayogamukhapusta ||

This manuscript is written in Maithili script on fols. 1v–34v; from fol. 35r to fol. 56v the manuscript is in Newari script. The text is, however, continuous. On the last line of fol. 34v there is one correction done in Newari script.

The 39th folio is lost, but the folio number 39 is written on fol. 40r.

There are two exposures of fols. 2v–3r.

karaṇaṃ dvividhaṃ caiva, saṃpradānaṃ tridhā mataṃ ||
